Outline of Research

In this project, we investigate pulverization technology for food products and rechargeable battery materials. Details regarding our research for each material are as follows.

【Fine Powder Production for Food Products】

  • Technology for sterilizing and pulverizing mainly natural products without losing the functionality of the materials.
  • Technology to process the starch contained in grains into new functional food powders.
  • Development of instant porridge using rice flour that has been pregelatinized without compromising the taste of the rice.

【Fine Powder Production for Rechargeable Battery Materials】

  • Development of a series of technologies from refining to spheronization of graphite, especially natural graphite, used in the anode of lithium-ion batteries.
  • Technology for efficient micronization of natural graphite.
  • Processing technology for the cathode materials of lithium-ion batteries.
