Support Office
The Support Office is responsible for facility maintenance and upkeep so that residents can conduct research in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment. The office also handles the maintenance, expansion, and promotion of the use of shared equipment.
The Support Office’s main responsibilities are as follows:
- Planning and management of the center’s operations and budget
- Administrative work related to the addition and removal of center users and the updating of the center’s user registry
- Clerical work related to tenants’ floor-usage fees, utilities, and communication costs
- Maintenance and management of buildings and ancillary facilities
- Enforcement of health and safety measures
- Clerical work related to the center’s committees
- Clerical work related to the maintenance and management of shared equipment and to the promotion of use of shared equipment
- PR activities
